VMI May have handed the Bulls their first loss yesterday but today was UB's day. Anthony Magovney pitched a solid game and the Bulls bats found traction as the game went on. While VMI made a furious late innings push Buffalo was able to escape with a 5 to 4 victory and lifted their season record to 5-1.

Buffalo got on the board in the third when Matt Pollock was brought around on a Richards single to the right side. It was the first run UB had put up on VMI in the two game series.
In the fourth the Bulls would plate two runners and it started with a Kyle Figgens lead off hit. After two outs Topps took a 4-0 walk. With two outs and runners on first and second Pollock his a single to center field scoring Figgens and moving Topps to third. Mike Burke brought in Topps with a single in the next at bat.
Buffalo extended their lead to 5-1 in the seventh when Richards scored Mike Pollock and then on the Kyle Figgend pushed Tyler Mautner in. In the 8th UB would strike again when a Burke hit and subsequent throwing error allowed Pollock to score from second.
At 6-1 the game seemed well in hand but the Keydets roughed up UB reliever Ben Hartz putting in five runs over the last two innings. With the tieing run on third base Hartz struck out a pinch hitter to secure the win.
