It looks like the mess at UAB will make the first UB recruiting pickup of the Leipold Era a safety from Conference USA.

Jordan Collier is not showing up on the current football roster for UAB but was in the spring prospectus as an incoming freshman and had been listed in the game day notes at UAB this season. According to the NCAA Collier used his redshirt this season, not playing in any UAB game.
Collier played high school ball for Lovejoy HS in Georgia. Part of what drew him to Buffalo could be his relationship with Randy Anyanwu and Brandon Williams who were teammates at Lovejoy and current UB Bulls.
In his senior season he was a 2013 First-Team All-Region selection and a Georgia Class 6A First-Team All-State player. Should he receive a transfer waiver to play next season he would have four years of eligibility at Buffalo.
