If Buffalo wants to avoid a losing season this year, they need to run the table. This Tuesday the Bulls travel to Athens to open up Midweek #MACtion against the Ohio Bobcats.
Before the year started both Buffalo and Ohio were teams that looked to be a factor in the race for the MAC East but each, in their own way, has played themselves into the role of a team trying to just salvage their season.
The success of UB's efforts relies on putting away the offense that sputtered last week and bring the squad which ranks in the top 40 of the NCAA. Last week Anthone Taylor was held to just 25 yards. In the four games before Central Michigan he had run for more than 650.
The defense, which had been abused all season, played their best game last week. They are still in the bottom third of the Bowl Subdivsion but if the unit hits their stride now that Jeff Quinn is gone they'll be an asset to a team looking to finish the season strong.
