If you're not feeling the excitement about tonight's matchup between our Buffalo Bulls and the Akron Zips, you wouldn't be the first one to admit it. High expectations that came with the easiest schedule anyone will ever see were tempered quickly in the first month, and four consecutive losses since the end of the September have pushed energy even lower.
That said, it's still a good look to see what opposing media is saying about tonight's game. Happily, Akron's proximity to Cleveland means that we can link to a piece or two from Elton Alexander of the Plain-Dealer. Unhappily, the Buchtelite, the Akron student newspaper, hasn't published anything on this game yet. They're not the first student newspaper to have no preview material this year, and I just don't get it.
