We haven't done this on a regular basis in the past, because for a long time the only outlets giving regular coverage to UB were the school and us. Truthfully, there's still not much out there, and even less worth reading - only on Fridays before games and Sundays-Tuesdays after them would I dream of posting a links roundup.
But with the new radio deal bringing WGR into the picture, Brad Riter doing his thing at Trending Buffalo, and the Buffalo News switching Mark Gaughan onto the UB beat, there's more being written about the Bulls than ever before, and we want to make sure you don't miss any of it.
I'm sure more things will get posted tonight and tomorrow morning. I'll update when we make it to Detroit this evening. Happy reading:
Starting off with two older pieces, Anthone Taylor was named Athlete of the Week for his performance in the loss to Bowling Green, and The Goose's Roost, one of my favorite Buffalo blogs, has been documenting his year as a first-time season ticket holder at UB. This piece is from the Miami game.
The Bulls Crusade → Confidence Game | The Goose's Roost
On confidence, stolen Diet Coke, and Buffalo Bulls football on another warm September day in Amherst.
And your expected preview pieces from elsewhere on the web. Warning: Paul Peck's is pretty much a wall of text, but we do learn that Anthone Taylor likes fishing, which explains a whole lot.
Buffalo looks to rebound against Eagles after one-point loss last week | ubspectrum
The Bulls defense forces a fumble on Eastern Michigan in the their 42-14 victory over the Eagles on Oct.
I expect that Sloane Martin from WGR will have something up today or early tomorrow. As I said, I'll update this post when I see more.
UPDATE: Sloane indeed came through. Here's her piece at WGR, well worth your time:
