Last nights thrilling finish came after Syracuse dominated play most of the contest. It also came within a minute of the Orange tying the game and sucking all of the life out of the UB fans. Still that's when heroes are made. Chris Marsack saw something which got him to change the play on a face off in the Syracuse zone and a second later Michael Schalberg put away the winning goal.
Same two teams tonight and a UB win puts a trip to the nationals in their laps. Once again the Northtown center is right across the street from Campus and as always the games are free for students (bring your ID's) and ridiculously cheap for non students.

The Northtown center is right across the street from Campus and as always the games are free for students (bring your ID's) and ridiculously cheap for non students. The capacity of the newly refurnished arena is 1,800 and when anywhere near that number of fans show up the atmosphere is impressive.
Most Recently Syracuse pummeled Canisius and the Bulls dropped a 7-5 decision. This sets up a tight race atop the NECHL between Buffalo (six wins one loss), Syracuse (seven Wins, one OT win, one loss), and Niagara (8 wins, 2 losses).
