2014 Buffalo Football Schedule

Jamie Sabau

More of Buffalo's conference Slate was released over the past few days. Here is the rumored conference slate so far:

Buffalo will have home conference games against Akron and Miami of Ohio. The Bulls will tkae to the road to play Eastern Michigan and Bowling Green.

It will be the first time the Bulls have played Akron since 2011 where the Bulls demolished the Zip's at UB stadium. Akron has been a soft target in recent years but under Terry Bowden the Zips have been showing a lot of improvement over the years. With many of the top MAC East teams facing graduation issues Akron could challenge for the division.

Miami will be breaking in their new head coach, Chuck Martin.  After winning the MAC in 2010 the Redhawks lost their head coach and have been in a tail spin ever since. They also have lost their starting Quarterback.

Buffalo travels to EMU at some point to take on the Eagles and their new head coach Chris Creighton. The Eagles lost Ron English after a controversy surrounding some poorly chosen words in the locker room and several years of poor results.

Bowling Green won the MAC east at Rich Stadium last year. It was the second straight year the two teams met on black friday and both games were played off campus. In 2012 Bowling Green played in Columbus Ohio and last season the Bulls played at the venue for the Buffalo Bills.

In addition to these games the Bulls are playing home against Norfolk of the FCS and Baylor of the Big12. UB will also have a road date against Army.

So there is seven of the 12 games to be played next season for Buffalo. We here at Bull run will be watching for the next five.
