Two MAC teams looking to start conference play 2-0 meet at Alumni Arena this Saturday. The Bulls host Eastern Michigan three days after taking their conference openers on Wednesday night.
In UB's win over NIU the Bulls placed four individuals into double figures led by 15 points from Will Regan. Senior Javon McCrea finished with 14 points, eight rebounds, four assists and eight blocks. At the same time EMU knocked off Bowling Green State University 56-51.
The Eagles are 9-5 and are giving their opponents fits with a well developed 2-3 zone. The Zone has been employed with great success by UB's opponents as Buffalo has struggled with perimeter shooting.
