Volleyball:

UB Volleyball won the UB Invite without dropping a set, defeating Temple and Niagara twice to win the title.

Tahlela Bishop (Sophomore, Whitby, Ontario) led the way offensively with 31 Kills, including a UB record 20 against Temple and Dani Reinert (Senior, Cincinnati, Ohio) added 59 assists. Defensively, Amber Hatchett (Sophomore, Chicago, Illinois) had 16 blocks and Libero Kelly Svoboda (Senior, Cleveland, Ohio) made 47 digs.

Men's Soccer:

Russell Cicerone (Freshman, Bloomfield, Michigan) scored his first career goal in a 3-1 loss to the Bonnies. Fellow Freshman Nicolai Berry (Auckland, New Zealand) picked up the assist on that goal and scored his own back home against Vermont. Berry's goal stood for 60 minutes before Vermont was able to tie the game in the 75th minute. The Bulls will face Sienna and Bucknell in search of their first win of the season this week.

Women's Soccer:

Sophie Therien (Junior, Kirkland, Quebec) and Katie Roberts (Junior, Homerville, Ohio) scored to give UB the 2-1 victory against the Bonnies. Against Youngstown, Megan Abman (Junior, Denver Colorado) scored with an assist from Kristen Markiewicz (Sophomore, Erie, Pennsylvania) and Ainsley Wheldon (Senior, Waterloo, Ontario) made 4 saves to shutout the Penguins in a 1-0 victory.
