It was a quiet game all around, a painfully quiet game but the UB defense did hold Stony Brook to 13 regulation points and a lot of that had to do with Najja Johnson smacking away three passes while also picking one off.

It was the first good showing by Johnson all year and at the end of the day it may have been the difference between UB winning or losing an FCS game that the Bulls should have put away by the half.

Johnson is up to four passes defended and an Interception this season which pulls him into a tie with Mike Newton for fourth all time in UB history, with nine games left this season Gemara Williams record of 39 passes defended is certainly in striking distance.

Mack had a pedestrian 1.5 tackles for loss but it was enough to move him into 10th all time among NCAA players. The Buffalo senior sits 15 behind Jason Babin, the all time NCAA leader.

Patrick Clarke moved up a bit in the record books. His 2/4 day kicking field goals is not going win any percentage awards but an eight point day has moved him into 5th all time in Field Goals kicked and eighth in extra points.
