Cross Country:

Buffalo's men and women both opened the season with 2nd place finishes behind Syracuse. For the men, Austin Coneys (Sophomore, Centerport, NY) led the way in 12 place while Chrissy Clarkin (Junior, Highland Mills, NY) finished 2nd place for the women.

Men's Soccer:

UB Soccer is still in search of their first win of the season, but they earned a tie against crosstown rivals Canisius thanks to an eight save performance from Waleed Cassis (Junior, Ottawa, Ontario)

Women's Soccer:

Cassis is still the second hottest goalie in Buffalo right now, behind Ainsley Wheldon (Senior, Waterloo, Ontario) who is currently maintaining a 314 minute shutout streak.

Women's Volleyball:

Women's Volleyball won the Cornell Invitational to remain undefeated in 2013. Liz Scott (Junior, Canadaigua, NY) earned UB athlete of the week honors for her efficient performance in Cornell, 27 kills with only 3 errors. Not to look ahead, but we will find out how good this team is On September 21st and September 27th as the Bulls take on the #13 Ohio State Buckeyes and the Ohio Bobcats who have received top 25 votes in the latest poll.
