History:

UB is 0-3 at Waldo: 1999 (17-45), 2005 (21-31), 2009 (31-34 OT)

UB is 1-2 at UB Stadium: 2002 (17-31) 2008 (28-34 OT), 2012 (29-24)

2008-09 Highlights: 2008: Down 21-3, Hiller throws 3 TD passes in the fourth quarter including one with five seconds remaining to send the game to overtime, where Hiller ended the game in OT with a TD pass. 2009: WMU squandered a 17-7 lead early and a 3 point lead with 2 minutes remaining in the game when AJ Principe kicked a 28 yard field goal as time elapsed. In OT John Rachuna missed from 43 yards out allowing John Potter to play the hero from 28 yards out.


2012 Highlights: Behind long runs from Branden Oliver and Devin Campbell, UB took a 17-0 lead only to surrender 21 straight WMU points as Alex Carder gave his best Tim Hiller impersonation. Licata gave the Bulls the lead for good in the 4th with a 30 yard TD pass to Alex Neutz, and UB's defense held on to the 29-24 lead by snagging four interceptions.


2013 Outlook: Between EMU and UMass, UB should be adequately prepared for WMU. The Broncos meanwhile row row row into the game after facing Northwestern, Iowa, Kent State and Toledo.


Players To Watch: Many thought Tyler Van Tubbergen should have played against UB. He will get his chance to beat the Bulls this year. MAC Freshman of the year Jaime Wilson did not play against UB last year, and will probably miss the 2013 season with a broken ankle.
