Stadium Journey Fanfare Score:

UB is 4-16 all-time against UConn, UB's last win came at Memorial Stadium in Storrs during the 2001 season. Since then, UB has lost 8 consecutive, and UB is 0-4 at Rentschler Field.

2011 Highlights: Coming off a BCS appearance, new UConn Coach Pasqualoni led UConn to a 5-7 season. UConn went 4-3 at home, but could only manage to defeat UB on the road.

2012 Highlights: UConn again went 5-7, playing 3 MAC schools, beating rivals UMass and UB, while falling to WMU for the second consecutive year. The highlight of the season was a 23-20 OT victory over Teddy Bridgewater's 18th Ranked Louisville Cardinals.

2013 Outlook: The UConn blog, dissatisfied with Warde Manuel's choice of coach, and back-to-back mediocre seasons, expects 7 wins, against Towson, Memphis, pick 4 of Maryland, USF, Cincy, UCF, SMU & Temple, and of course they see the UB game as a sure thing. Bad for UConn however is they get Buffalo a week after playing Michigan. Bufflalo will be coming off the Stony Brook game and an open date, fully rested and prepared to spoil UConn's dreams of 7 wins.

Players To Watch:
PG Shabazz Napier: Anytime you have a Senior at point guard, you should have a good season.
RB Nick Williams is gone...thank god, all he did was destroy UB, literally that is all he did.
He will be replaced by RB Martin Hyppolite who had 69 yards rushing in 2012, 50 of which came on one touchdown run against Buffalo.
RB Lyle McCombs "The Staten Island Ferry" is UConn's best hope at getting off 5-7 island and into downtown Bowl Eligiblity.
