Stadium Journey Fanfare Score:

UB is 5-5 all-time against Massachusetts and 1-0 at Gillette Stadium. UMass has never played at UB Stadium.

The Buffalo Bills are 2-20 against the New England Patriots since the opening of Gillette Stadium and 0-11 all-time at Gillette Stadium.

2011 Highlights: UMass started the season 2-0, then stood at 4-2 after defeating perennial powerhouse and then #9 Delaware, but UMass stumbled at the end, losing their final three contests to fall to 5-6 on the season.

2012 Highlights: Coach Kevin Morris was fired and Charley Molnar was hired. In their first season in the MAC, UMass played an ambitious schedule including an SEC team, two B1G team, and UConn of the Conference formerly known as the Big East. UMass fell to Miami by 11 and Ohio by only 3 before breaking through for their first FBS and MAC win over Akron. They surrendered the Powderhorn to Buffalo via a 29-19 loss in Foxborough.

2013 Outlook: Another difficult schedule for UMass sends them to Camp Randall Stadium and The Little Apple. Vandy comes to Gillette this year in addition to BCS Bowl Busters the NIU Huskies. Finally UMass faces the teeth of the MAC East on the road, starting at Bowling Green on 10/5, at Buffalo on 10/19 and closing the season at Ohio on 11/29.

Players To Watch:
QB Mike Wegzyn: will use his Sophomore year to improve on the experience he gained as a true Freshman.
P Colter Johnson: On Ray Guy Watch List...will probably punt a lot...
