NCAA Basketball Recruiting Buffalo Bulls get a verbal from Deyshonee Much

Deyshonee Much a shooting guard from Rochester has given a verbal commitment to Buffalo.

New Buffalo Bulls coach Bobby Hurley made his second recruting move since taking over the program. The first was re-securing Shannon Evans, a player who ahd committed to Reggie Witherspoon before the long time Buffalo coach was fired by the University.

Today Hurley went out and brough in his own player, Deyshonee Much.

Much, who stands at 6-foot-4 and weighs175-pounds, has been playing Guard for Redemption Christian Prep in Rochester New York for coach Kevin Simmons. He wa son Bobby Hurley's radar back when Hurley was an assistant at Rhode Island.

He also had strong interest from Texas State, Northern Kentucky, Northeastern, Canisius, FDu and Monmouth.

"I felt as though everything was meant to be. I met him at URI while working out and I could see that I fit his coaching style. When I heard that he would be the head coach at UB, I quickly gained interest in the school. -- Much to Snytv

Much confirmed that this is one of Hurley's first reputation hires, "I’ve never thought I would have an opportunity to work with someone with such an inspiring reputation.".
