Rowing

Under new coach Sandy Calfo the Rowing team has picked up right where they left off. With the Harvey cup coming up this Week UB seems well positioned to compete for the CAA title.

Bulls Cruise to Success at the Murphy Cup - Buffalo Athletics

The Varisty Four A boat finished behind Navy with a time of 7:51.31 edging out two other Navy boats, Temple and Colgate.

UB's second varsity eight rowers also finished behind a Navy crew, but was able to edge out Drexel to secure the second silver medal of the day for the Bulls.

The Novice Four finished strongly in second place to a squad from Lehigh with a time of 8:37.18.

The Varsity Eight finished out a great day for UB placing second behind Navy at 6:49.64.

Women's Tennis

One injury can change any team sport, especially when its your best player. Tanvi Shah is out for a spell and UB's ten match win streak has turned into a two match losing streak at just the wrong time... During conference play!

Bulls Fall At Ball State, 6-1 - Buffalo Athletics
Playing for the second straight day without their number one singles and doubles player in the lineup, the University at Buffalo women's tennis team fell on the road, this time to Ball State, 6-1. The loss drops the Bulls to 10-2 on the season and 1-2 in conference play.

Softball

UB lost both games of a double header to Akron and then split with Ohio. Not a great showing but the Bulls showed they might have pitching to fear in the future.

Aviles’ Gem Leads Bulls To Doubleheader Split With Ohio - Buffalo Athletics
Freshman Nicole Aviles pitched a complete game one-hitter with 12 strikeouts on Saturday afternoon as she helped lead the Bulls to a doubleheader split with Ohio at Nan Harvey Field. The victory was UB's first in MAC play, winning the second game, 4-3. Ohio took the opener, 8-1.

Track

Buffalo's jumpers and hurdlers looked very good in Toledo!
