Wrestling

Mark Lewandowski improves to 26-6 and is the #12 wrestler in the nation. UB however cannot finish after an early lead and falls to Kent State.

Bulls Falter Late in Loss to Kent State

The Buffalo wrestling team won five of the first six matches against Mid-American Conference rival Kent State Sunday afternoon in Alumni Arena, but four straight bonus-point wins allowed the Flashes come back for a 22-19 win.

Swimming & Diving

Billy Patrum earns 3 first-place finishes for the men while Spencer Rodriguez, Kelsay Barbour, Karly Moore and Ava Giachino each won twice for the women.

Bulls Best Bonnies in Senior Day Finale

The University at Buffalo men's and women's swimming and diving teams sent out the 2013 senior class on a winning note Saturday afternoon as the Bulls swept Big Four rival St. Bonaventure at Alumni Arena Natatorium in the final dual meet of the year. The Bulls defeated the Bonnies, 159-135, in the men's meet. The UB women knocked off the Bonnies, 177-111. It was the fifth straight win by the Bulls in both all-time series.

Balanced Scoring Leads Buffalo to 78-70 Victory at Miami (OH)

The University at Buffalo women's basketball team had six players score eight or more points and overcame a 13-point first half deficit as the Bulls defeated Miami (OH), 78-70, on Thursday afternoon at Millett Hall.

UB Women's Basketball Quick Guide

UB Women's Basketball is 5-2 in MAC, already surpassing the MAC win totals from last year and 2009-10. As this year's best basketball program in the department, I think it's time we get to know the 2012-13 Bulls.

Second Half Struggles Cost Bulls at Akron

Despite taking an early lead in the second half on Saturday afternoon, the University at Buffalo women's basketball team was outscored 38-23 over the final 20 minutes of play, as Akron defeated Buffalo, 75-57.

The University at Buffalo men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to the University of Pennsylvania on Sunday afternoon at the Levy Tennis Pavilion. The Bulls are 2-1 in spring play.

Bulls Dominate Big 12 Member West Virginia, 6-1

The University at Buffalo women's tennis team improved to a perfect 3-0 on the season with a 6-1 victory over West Virginia on Sunday afternoon at the Miller Tennis Center. The victory was UB's second straight over a BCS conference school and its first ever win over a school from the Big 12.

The University at Buffalo men's and women's indoor track and field teams were in action Saturday at Penn State's Sykes-Sabock Challenge Cup. In the scored meets, the UB men placed ninth of 12 teams with 38 points while the women were seventh in a 13-team field with 49 points.
