Buffalo Bulls to play 7 home games in 2014 - Who is Number Seven?

While coaches players and fans were shaking off UB's loss in the Potato bowl the Athletic Department was busy at work.

Could it be Houston?

Sometimes I confuse fake Danny White and Real Danny White. Last night, for a moment, was one of those times.

In the face of a painful loss this totally seems like a fake Danny White tweet.. But it was in fact the real Danny white doubling down on his Stampede Square / Tail gate series that set UB Football box office records this season. So now it's time to start speculating as to our schedule.

I've learned never to try and predict the MAC... 13 teams makes for ugly schedules and if I had to guess I would say Everyone in the East and then CMU and Ball State.

In terms of non conference schedules UB hosts Baylor and Norfolk State (FCS). The Bulls have a road trip to Army so that leaves on game. Thanks to White we know, or at least are pretty sure that's going to be a home contest.

My first thought was that the FAU 1:1 got moved up but they Owls are set next season. so how does that leave? According to the site FBS Schedules here are the options.

Team Open
Air Force Falcons 1
Arkansas State Red Wolves 1
East Carolina Pirates 1
Houston Cougars 2
Marshall Thundering Herd 1
Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders 1
North Texas Mean Green 1
Stanford Cardinal 1
Temple Owls 1
Wake Forest Demon Deacons 1
Washington State Cougars 1

With the exception of Air Force I'm going to throw out the teams in the west because those are expensive trips with little media upside. I don't see a PAC ten making a 1:1 or 2:1 game with UB. I will throw airforce out becaues two of their games for next season are already on the road.

I'm also throwing Marshall out because they already have two MAC teams on their OOC. The fans might rebel if they schedule another one.

Other teams with two road games already scheduled are Arkansas Sate, Temple, Middle Tennessee, North Texas, and Wake Forest.

So it looks like, on first inspection it looks as if perhaps either Houston or ECU setting up a 1:1 with Buffalo. All I ask is that white *PLEASE* do not bring in a second FCS team.
