NCAA Recruiting Buffalo Lands Andy Fidler

Buffalo cast their net a bit further west than usual and brought in a lineman.

247 sports is reporting that Andy Fidler, an offensive tackle from Port Huron Wisconsin, has given a verbal commitment to play football for the Buffalo Bulls. Fidler chose Buffalo over Bowl Subdivision offers from Bowling Green University and Wyoming.and Championship Division offers from powerhouses North Dakota and Eastern Illinois.

During the off season the The 6-5, 270-pound Fidler was getting looks from Jerry Kill and Minnesota.

Fidler plays both sides of the ball  very well. After helping the Port Huron Pirates are off to a 3-1 start. The 6-foot-6-inch, 270-pound 2014 prospect earned second-team All-North Shore Conference recognition as an offensive tackle and honorable mention status as a defensive lineman.

During his summer camp in Minnesota camp  he recorded a 5.3 second 40, jumped a 23 inch vertical, benched 310 pounds and was able to Squat 480 pounds.

10 days before UB takes part in the Potato Bowl the Bulls are now up to 18 recruits.
