Ohio State-Purdue final score: Buckeyes thrash Boilers, 56-0 - Land-Grant Holy Land If you missed just the opening minute of the game, you would have missed the entirety of Purdue's puncher's chance against Ohio State. On the game's second play from scrimmage, Ohio State cornerback Doran Grant intercepted Purdue quarterback Danny Etling and returned the pick 33 yards for a touchdown. With that, Ohio State was off and running on their way to their largest shutout Big Ten win since defeating Northwestern 63-0 in 1980.

Houston Nutt apparently interested in UConn coaching job - SBNation.com "Houston wanted to know about the landscape of football in Connecticut and what kind of players we had, the skill-level, and the hot-beds for talent," said the coach who spoke on the condition of anonymity. "I guess he's doing his research. I was taken by surprise a little bit. I'm not sure how he got my cell number."

You Can't Field Drizzle, or How I Learned to Love Ohio AT Buffalo - Bull Run For the first time, this football game that used to be a MAC East Pillowfight, is being played by MAC East heavyweights with Detroit implications. 6-2 Ohio facing 6-2 Buffalo. As it is a big game, Ohio fans think "being there" gives them the edge. But the game is in Buffalo, and I think "being there" gives UB the edge. Peden is my nightmare, but UB Stadium should be theirs.

FINAL: Toledo Cruises To 55-16 Win Over Eastern Michigan - Hustle Belt EMU was scrambling for air early on, which certainly wasn't aided by the curious decision to not play junior running back Bronson Hill at all, instead relying on Ryan Brumfield all game. Without the MAC's fifth leading rusher getting the ball, the Eagles struggled, totaling just 82 yards on the ground as a team. |

FalconBlog--Triumphs and Trials in the BGSU Falcon Nation: Clawson Presser He talked about Miami a little. The point is, we need every game now to get where we want to go. Miami may be winless, but we have to be focused on winning the game. Boucher is injured and out for the year, and they have 2 QBs...one is a passer and one is a rusher--their leading rusher. That creates some uncertainty.
