Week 13 NCAA Football AP and Coaches Polls

Brian Kersey

If I were an NIU fan I'd be really pissed right now.... Awww hell even though I'm not an NIU fan I'm pissed.

NIU Beat up on Ball State a team that is now 9-2 and had been getting AP and coaches votes last week. Meanwhile UCF needed a miracle catch just to beat a Temple team still looking for win #2 on the year. At the same time Fresno state sat home a week after being "tested" against Wyoming.

So how did the Polls move?

UCF Moved up ahead of NIU.

The Huskies held their spot in the AP at #20 and incredabally they lost a spot in the Coaches poll.

The computers are going to love NIU's win over Ball State and the Huskies have another chance to impress against 7-3 Toledo but right now it seems as if the Coaches and AP want a new Cinderella this year.

Sure Fresno needed OT to beat San Diego and- of course they barely survived Hawaii. But they beat a 5-4 Rutgers team and snuck by a 7-3 Boise team so of course they are the better team.
