Branden Oliver Mid-American Conference East Division Player of the Week

BO Knows Player of the Week

Branden Oliver's big day brought back memories of 2011 and hopefully showed us what the rest of the season might look like. Oliver's key role un UB's win over EMU won him the MAC East Division Offensive Player of the Week. This is the third career weekly honor for Oliver, and he is the fourth different UB player to earn recognition from the conference this season.

Oliver rushed for a season-high 150 yards and two touchdowns in UB's 42-14 win over Eastern Michigan on Saturday. In just three quarters of work he averaged 6.0 yards per rush before handing the ball over to James Potts in the fourth Quarter.

BO's 60-yd touchdown run on third and long during Buffalo's opening drive set the tone for the day, as UB never looked back. He would then punch in another touchdown on a goal-line possession to open up a 14-0 lead for the Bulls. He would also haul in three catches in the passing game, going for 32 yards.
