W8 Team Tier Change Game Comment
NIU 1 1 W 59-20 v sEMU That's the kind of game that NIU has not had all season. From the opening kickoff to the final whistle they owned the contest
Ball State 1 -1 W 42-14 at Akron Wenning keeps blowing up anyone that gets in Ball State's way. Easily the MAC POY so far he and NIU's defense have a date coming up in a few weeks.
Buffalo 2 2 W 41-21 at Kent Kent is not an elite team this season in the conference but they did give Ball State fits. The Bulls beat their first semi respectable opponent this year in dominant fashion.
Toledo 2 -1 W 28-25 at BGSU The Rockets continue to show character this season. Both Navy and Bowling Green could have been losses. Instead with EMU and Akron on their schedule seven wins now seems like the ceiling for Toledo.
Ohio 2 1 W 41-16 vs Miami Ohio has shaken off the loss to CMU and did so against a team that knocked them out of the tpo 25 last season.
BGSU 2 -2 L 28-25 vs Toledo Hard fought loss to Toledo. One that Bowling green may really need back at the end of the season if tie breakers become important.
Kent 3 0 Loss 41-21 vs Buffalo Kent is officially eliminated from bowl eligibility. Their offense was just too inconsistent against Buffalo.
CMU 3 0 Bye CMU hopefully used the bye wisely. Ball State awaits the Chips.
Akron 3 0 L 42-14 vs Ball State Akron has typically been pretty competitive this season. But against Ball State the Zips looked like Akron of old.
EMU 4 1 L 59-20 at NIU If Ron English survives this season I am hiring his agent.
WMU 4 1 W 31-30 at Umass Well WMU Rowed their boat to a win. This might take some of the pressure off of first year coach PJ Fleck
UMass 4 -2 L 31-30 vs WMU Brave call to go for two but in the end you lost to a win-less MAC team two weeks after beating a win-less MAC team.
Miami 4 0 L 41-16 at Ohio On the bright side Miami is rumored to have whittled their list of coaching replacements down to just a handful.
