1st Quarter

15:00 - Bulls first drive stalls after just one first down.  Quarterback tried to hit Alex Neutz on a long play down the middle of the field on a play-action, but the play was broken up by three Minutemen defenders.  Massachusetts will start drive at it's own 31 yard line.

10:00 - Khalil Mack picked up his school-record-tying 24th career sack as he just ran over Anthony Dima en route to sacking the quarterback.  Minutemen still driving and are inside the Bulls 35 yard-line.

7:28 - The Bulls get a big stop on third down as Beau Bachtelle and Adam Redden combine on the sack.  UMass is forced to punt after sustaining a drive.  The punt is a touchback and the Bulls will start the drive at it's own 20.

3:31 - Bulls move the ball 40 yards but Licata can't connect with Neutz on 3rd and 7 and Grassman punts for the second time this game.  Branden Oliver with some video game-like moves on that drive as he picked up two UB first downs.

1:49 - Minuteman can't go anywhere as the Bulls defense is starting to heat up.  Forced a delay of game and getting good pressure on Doyle.  Bulls start inside UMass territory at the 48-yard line.

END OF 1st Quarter - Buffalo 0 Massachusetts 0

2ND Quarter

14:55 - Patrick Clarke connects on a 44-yard field goal to cap off a 5 play, 21 yard drive which took 1:54 off of the clock. BUFFALO 3 UMASS 0.

13:33 - Bulls defense gets another stop and the Minutemen punt is again downed in the endzone.  They will start the drive at the 20-yard line when we get back from break.

11:54 - Looks to be a big blow here for the Bulls as senior offensive lineman and captain Jason Carlson is down and does not look good.  They are putting a inflatable cast on his right leg.  He is carted off.  Following play, Alex Neutz catches a pass and gets rocked by UMass defender and is down and hasn't even moved.

11:14 - Grassman punts after a very sloppy and disorganized series where we saw two major UB injuries and a incompetent refereeing crew.  UMass ball with 11:02 left in second quarter.

10:13 - KHALIL MACK!  He does it again!  He picks off A.J. Doyle and returns the ball 35 yards for a touchdown, his second pick-6 of the season.  BUFFALO 10 UMASS 0.

6:45 - UMass forced to punt again.  Another sloppy possession as UMass tight end Rob Blanchflower was ejected after a tangle up with Jake Stockman.  It's been a long game thus far but UB will go back to work at it's own 18.

4:10 - This game is getting more sloppy and confusing by the minute.  After it looked like UMass had stopped Buffalo, both teams sent out punting units.  UMass was then called for an unsportsmanlike penalty which penalized them 15 yards and gave Buffalo a first down.  Bulls driving now.

0:48 - Patrick Clarke connects on his second field goal attempt from 36 yards.  The Bulls took advantage of the penalty against UMass by adding three points.

0:07 - Blake Lucan is good on a 42-yard field goal attempt at the end of the second quarter.  That's the first points against the Bulls defense since the second quarter of the Eastern Michigan game two weeks ago.  BUFFALO 13 UMASS 3

HALFTIME: BUFFALO 13 UMASS 3

Big blow for the Bulls.  News from the PB says that Carlson (leg), Neutz (concussion), Way (knee), will all miss the remainder of the game.

14:00 - Good defensive series for the Bulls as Adam Redden nearly picks off the Doyle pass.  It would've been an easy touchdown if he makes the catch.

12:11 - Bulls will settle for another field goal after drive stalls at the 11-yard line.  Clarke hits his third field goal of the game from 27 yards.  BUFFALO 16 UMASS 3

8:09 - Doyle FUMBLES and Adam Redden recovers at the UB 20-yard line.  The ball seemed to just slip out of the hands of the Minutemen quarterback as he ran to the outside.

4:07 - Clarke's 43-yard attempt in the POURING rain is no good off of the upright.

2:13 - Branden Oliver breaks James Starks' career rushing record at UB with a 15-yard run that puts him to 3,145 career rushing yards.

0:23 - Bulls pick up their first safety since Sept. 5, 2009 when they did so against UTEP.  Redden and Houston combine to bring down the ball carrier in the end-zone.  BUFFALO 18 UMASS 3

END OF 3RD Quarter - Buffalo 18 Massachusetts 3

13:29 - Licata has now thrown a touchdown in all seven games this season as he hits Fred Lee on a 7-yard touchdown throw.  Bulls running away with this one.  BUFFALO 25 UMASS 3

10:39 - UMass turns it over on downs.  UB ball on own 33.  10:39 left.

5:18 - Oliver scores from 5 yards out on his school-record 43rd carry of the game.  BUFFALO 32 UMASS 3

END OF GAME - Buffalo 32 Massachusetts 3
