McCrea, Regan, and Oldham named all Big-4

Buffalo's outlook in the Big 4 this season is strong despite the coaching change which saw Bobby Hurley replace Reggie Witherspoon.

It was announced that UB placed three on the preseason All-Big 4 team on Monday afternoon.
At the First Niagara Center during the annual Big 4 Media Day Event Senior Javon McCrea and Junior Will Regan were both named to the first team, while senior guard Jarod Oldham was named to the second team.

McCrea is within striking distance his teams all-time scoring record and most recently, he was named to the Lou Henson Preseason All-American team.

Will Regan played his first season in a UB uniform last year after transferring from Virginia.  During last years MAC tournament Regan dropped 36 points against the Ball State Cardinals, including five three-pointers. 

Oldham was one of the MAC top freshman in 2011 and was having a solid season last year before being waylaid bye an injury toward the end of UB's non conference schedule. Before the injury Oldham was averaging 10.1 points per game over the first 11 games, including a career-high 20 points against St. Bonaventure in the last game he would play all year.

The All Big Four team consist of three players from Buffalo and Canisius and two each from Niagara and Saint Bonaventure.
