Buffalo 33 Western Michigan 0- A dominating win for the Bulls over a team they were expected to beat. Oliver and Potts looked great on the ground while Buffalo's defense had another great performance with the shutout.
Central Michigan 26 Ohio 23- Is Central Michigan better than we thought or is Ohio worse? Whatever the answer is, great win for the Chippewas on the road and tough loss for the Bobcats. Ohio looks like they have to win out now to have any chance in the MAC East.
Eastern Michigan 25 Army 50- The game was competitive in the first half, going into halftime with Army leading 22-18 but a 21-point third quarter was too much for the Eagles as Army ran away in this contest.
Miami 10 Massachusetts 17- In a battle of win-less MAC teams, UMASS proved to be a tad better than the Redhawks as the Minutemen earned their first win of the year. I
Kent State 24 Ball State 27- Kent State battled, leading by four late but a Willie Snead seven-yard touchdown reception with 1:29 left in the fourth put the game away for Ball State as the Golden Flashes couldn't respond.
Akron 20 #23 Northern Illinois- Coming off a 43-3 defeat at the hands of Ohio, the Zips gave the Huskies a much closer than expected contest. Northern Illinois however picks up the win as their dominant MAC streak continues.
Bowling Green 20 Mississippi State 21- Bowling Green gave it their all but just couldn't pull it out in the end. Falcons looked solid against a decent SEC school. Now they'll be trying to continue their play into the home stretch of MAC play.
