Ohio State football: Taking a closer look at Bradley Roby - Land-Grant Holy Land Bradley Roby came into the season as the top cornerback prospect in the country and a perennial top 15 pick. After being suspended for the first game of the season, Roby has been criticized since his return and especially after back to back sub par performances versus Wisconsin and Northwestern. The secondary has looked lost the past two games and the preseason All- American is getting most of the blame. Roby is known as a physical cornerback who is great in run support and may be a lock down corner on Sundays but his play has been alarming lately, or so we think.

Baylor wins Bill Snyder Special in Manhattan, 35-25. - Our Daily Bears It's going to take me a long time to process what happened today in Manhattan. Part of me knows I should be happy about getting a road win in conference play, in a place where we've never won before. Another part feels the doubts expressed by so many others creeping into my appreciation of this team, replacing my unbridled confidence in the 2013 Baylor Bears with what is probably a more realistic (and rational) view of how things are. The bottom line for today is that this game was possibly the best example of a win that feels like losing, where just about everything that could go wrong, did, but we managed to win, anyway. That fact might be a minor miracle.

USF 13 - UConn 10: New Look, Same Result - The UConn Blog It certainly didn't start pretty. UConn out-gained USF 139-12 in the first quarter, yet were outscored 7-3. That's what happens when your receivers drop two touchdowns, your kicker slips on a field goal attempt and your offensive lineman recovers, then re-fumbles a Tim Boyle fumble, which was then picked up by the Bulls' Aaron Lynch and returned 44 yards for a touchdown. Boyle went just 2/9 for 22 yards passing in the opening 15. What's worse? USF HAD ZERO PASSING YARDS.

Army 50, EMU 25: how low can you go? " Eagle Totem Eagle Totem The 50 points were the most in a game for Army this fall. Their previous high 35 against Louisiana Tech. Their high before that was just 28, against Morgan State. That’s the Morgan State Bears, a 1-5 FCS team. In fact, the last time the Black Knights topped the half-century mark against an FBS team was 1999, when they edged out Louisville, 59-52, but 14 of their points came in overtime. The last time they scored 50+ points against an FBS team in regulation was more than 20 years ago.

UMass Football Holds on for First Win of 2013-14, 17-10, over Miami (Ohio) - Hustle Belt Even in victory there were causes for concern for UMass as they missed out on several opportunities to put points on the board. That being said, UMass was able to score enough to win and the defense showed signs of life in the second half which bucked the trend that had been following them through the first five games.

BobcatAttack.com - For Fans of Ohio University Sports Given a second chance in the final five minutes, Central Michigan scored the winning touchdown with 22 seconds left on a 5-yard pass from Cooper Rush to Courtney Williams, ruining Ohio’s homecoming, 26-23, on Saturday at Peden Stadium. The Bobcats went ahead on a 1-yard Ryan Boykin touchdown run with 4:42 remaining and got a three-and-out to force a Chippewas punt, but Travis Carrie muffed the ball and it was recovered by Joe Bacci at the Ohio 39-yard line with 2:47 to go.

FalconBlog--Triumphs and Trials in the BGSU Falcon Nation: Tough Defeat. in Starkville.... Tough loss for BG, but a really solid effort from our guys. Very proud of everything they did out there tonight and while I understand there are no moral victories, I also believe this game will serve to give us confidence moving forward. That's a very hostile environment and BG was down early and they battled back into the game and had a shot to win the game in the 4th Q and that's what you look for.
