Buffalo is still looking for that first win in conference play and fate has sent them yet another MAC east team that might thrive against a UB squad who lacks the guard play which has been part fo the Witherspoon system for a decade plus.
The flashes are led by Chris Evans who is averaging almost 17 points a game. Evans is also pulling down 7 boards per contest. The lost on they road in Toledo before destroying Ball State to take their revenge on the West. That loss to Toledo makes the chances of thins being a "trap" game far less likely.
Buffalo is a young team was starting to build momentum until losing Jarod Oldham now Coach Witherspoon has two great peices of Artilary in Javon McCrea and Will Regan but no weapon with which to fire them. The team fell just short of a spectacular comeback against Miami several days after being flattened by Ohio.
