At quarterback the starter is Seth Higgins, a six foot five sophomore who is their pro style quarterback. Last season he took over from Josh Council after the the Howard game, starting their last seven games as a true freshman.

Council still backs up Higgins up, and in doing so gives the bears a change of pace QB, last week against Sacred heart he ran the ball four times.
The Bears are more dangerous on the ground than in the air. Travis Davidson and Brian Mahn lead Morgan State's running game. Last season Davidson rushed for 732 yards and seven touchdowns last season, last week in their 2012 opener he ran for 107 yards on 22 carries, scoring two touchdowns.
