Bull Run Power Rankings: Week 3

Rank Team +/- Comment
Ball State 2 They might not be the best team in the MAC but so far this season they have the best resume. Ball State is quickly becoming the hardest game on Ohio's Schedule
Ohio It's not that they have done anything wrong it's just that they have the one good win. I don't know where to rank them compared to the cards
Toledo -1 Being down to Coastal Carolina in the third Quarter is not what we expect of the preseason MAC west favorites
Western Mighigan 1 Quality win by Western Michigan. It makes the week three loss to Minnesota all that much more inexplicable
Northern Illinois -1 This is the win they needed last season to finish ranked. Better late than never! Next week NIU will either cement the top 4 in the west or be a prop for a CMU revival.
Kent 1 It was a very ugly win over a hapless Buffalo Offense but they did put two backs over 100 yards and start the season 2-1.
Central Michigan 4 Central Michigan injects itself into the conversation of possible MAC west dark horses by knocking off Iowa. Next week at NIU is going to be huge
Bowling Green -2 Not a whole lot of shame in being in pinata for Virginia Tech. The Hokies had to beat up on someone after losing to Pitt the week before.
Miami Beating UMass does not move you up when the Minutemen pile up 471 yards. A pick call and some bad luck in the redzone were the difference in the game
Akron Bowdenball is working in Akron! They destroyed Morgan State and then Gave Tennessee a real run for their money. The Zips are looking better than they have in years
Eastern Michigan 2 The Eagles are clearly good enough to challenge anyone in the MAC. Heck they were beating Michigan State until late in the 3rd. Their problem is consistency
Buffalo -4 Buffalo fans are on the ledge after that performance against Kent State. The Bulls are quickly looking like the best chance UMass has for a win this year.
Umass -1 They make the mistakes that you expect bad teams to make but individually their talent level looks good. In two years this could be a competitive MAC squad
