Well as time goes on six or more wins starts to seem like a possibility for Buffalo. While the sargins rankings at this point are next to useless they are still fun to play with.

And when we line them up what do we see?

Georgia Bulldogs 41, Missouri Tigers 20: The Return of the Fourth-Quarter SEC Road Warriors - Dawg Sports
For two and a half quarters, Aaron Murray looked more like a freshman than he did when he was a freshman. For two and a half quarters, the Bulldogs seemed to alternate good plays with bad, seemed incapable of attempting a pass on which the quarterback, his blockers, and his intended target all did their jobs effectively, and used their timeouts as recklessly as Isaiah Crowell used Mark Richt’s goodwill.

N.C. State 10 - UConn 7: Frustration abounds - The UConn Blog
The offensive line was horrendous and that might be letting them off easy. The Huskies got no push whatsoever and Chandler Whitmer was constantly harassed in the backfield. Without blocking Lyle McCombs was incredibly limited, though a fifty-yard gain on a screen showed that when he gets space Lyle McCombs can still be Lyle McCombs.

BobcatAttack.com - For Fans of Ohio University Sports
Beau Blankenship rushed for 168 yards and two touchdowns and Tyler Tettleton threw for 257 yards and two scores as the Bobcats amassed 584 yards of offense and turned a 21-17 lead early in the third quarter into a blowout before the end of the period.

NIU 35, UT-Martin 7: Huskies thrive in warmup game - Red And Black Attack
This was exactly the type of game that NIU needed at this point in the season. They needed to get back on top of things after the disappointing loss to Iowa at Soldier Field. And they did just that against a much lesser opponent. They needed this to get ready for upcoming opponents Army and Kansas. Mistakes in those games will be ever more lofty and could result in another one in the loss column. It was a blowout, but oh so many lessons can be learned from this one, which is the most important thing for playing against this opponent.

Different Opponent, Same Story: Panthers Get Demolished By The Bearcats - Cardiac Hill
Perhaps the most infamous disaster of last night - and there are several to pick from - will be the last play before the half. With five seconds on the clock and Pitt with first-and-goal from the one, Chryst elected to get a play in and then kick the field goal. It was a gutsy call made easier by Pitt's inability to move the ball or stop Cincinnati from doing the same. The problem was that they never got to the field goal:

Toledo (1-1) trailed 20-17 at halftime but rallied behind the arm and legs of Owens, who completed clutch pass after clutch pass. Owens, who went the entire game at QB, was 15-of-23 in the final 30 minutes. He also rushed for a career-high 74 yards. His fourth and final TD pass of the game to junior James Green put Toledo up, 34-23, with 7:57 to play. Junior Bernard Reedy led the Rockets with six catches for 111 yards and two TDs.

WMU Cruises to Victory, Offense Looks Great, Fans Happy - Hustle Belt
For those of you who didn't catch the 52-21 pounding over fellow pass happy team Eastern Illinois, the Broncos exploded in the 2nd quarter for 4 TDs to pull away from EIU after a tight 1st. Alex Carder finished the 1st half with 299 yards on 26/30 passing and 5 TDs. In all, he finished with 364 yards after going just 3/7 in the 3rd.

Hoosier Daddy: Indiana Game Notes – Maroon Musket – Your Source for UMass Football News and Analysis
The UMass football team took a baby step forward and Olympic-level vault backwards against the Indiana Hoosiers. The Minutemen fell 45-6 in their first-ever home game as an FBS team.

FalconBlog--Triumphs and Trials in the BGSU Falcon Nation: The Idaho Win....Not pretty
On the other hand, their passing game just shredded us. Blackman completed 81% of his passes (30-37) for 352 yards, a very strong 11.7 yards per attempt, especially when combined with that completion percentage. He also did all that with no support from the running game and under pretty decent pressure from the Falcon front.
