99 for 99 takes a look at the 99 biggest moments in UB Football history in anticipation of the 99th Season of UB Football which begins on September 1st, 2012. These moments are not in any order, however the top 10 moments have been saved for last.

The Buffalo Bulls were less than a week away from their first ever bowl game appearance and the eyes of UB nation were fixed on the Dome in Toronto. In another dome, Lucas Oil Field in Indianapolis, a former Bull found himself playing in the final game of the season.

Manning and company were resting as they would have to play the wildcard game the following week so the game was pretty meaningless. Late in the fourth quarter, Colts up 16-0, Lance Ball attempted to plunge into the end zone from the 1. Ball fumbled, but Jamey Richards was there to scoop up the fumble for the touchdown.

I don't have the official records, but seeing as most of UB's NFL stars were linemen or played defense, and Drew Haddad never scored, it may have been the first touchdown ever scored in the NFL by a UB player. QB John Stofa threw for 12 touchdowns, but I saw no record of him actually crossing the plane himself in an NFL game.
