Kendall Patterson was one of the first big "gets" of coach Jeff Quinn's Tenure at Buffalo. The standout lineman from Abingdon, Maryland was holding offers from schools like South Florida, Wisconsin, Michigan State, and NC State. Still Patterson was worked by the Buffalo staff and that work culminated with a visit from Quinn on the day of the 2010 Sugar Bowl.
Last season the Bulls had depth on the line so Patterson spent the year learning the system and working with the scout team. This season he comes out of spring as the backup, and perhaps successor, to senior Steven Means.
