Know your Bulls is a countdown to the kick off. If will look at every single UB football player on the roster. When the players number matches the number of days remaining then it's his turn in the spotlight.

Position: Outside Linebacker

From: Fort Pierce, Florida

A first-team All-MAC selection in 2012

Khalil Mack has quickly become the biggest name on UB's defense. Last year, as a sophomore he was a first-team All-MAC selection and an honorable mention All-American by Sports Illustrated. His most impressive numbers were his 20.5 tackles for loss, third most in the nation and five forced fumbles (tied for eighth in the nation).

But Mack is an all around defender on the season he had 65 tackles, five and a half sacks and 13 quarterback hurries.

He has two more seasons to play but Mack is already ranks fifth in school history in tackles for loss with 34 and is tied for the school record with seven forced fumbles. Coming into this season Mack is on the watch list for both the Nagurski and Lombardi awards, the first Bull to appear on either list.
