Know your Bulls is a countdown to the kick off. If will look at every single UB football player on the roster. When the players number matches the number of days remaining then it's his turn in the spotlight.

Position: Outside Linebacker

From: Frederick, Maryland

Played on Special teams and as depth in the line backing corps

There is not a lot of turn around among the starters in UB's front seven. The Bulls lost one starter on the line and just one linebacker. But Senior Imani Chatman has made the most of the changes.

Chatman spent most of his time last season on the sidelines. When he was not on the sidelines he was playing with the special teams units. NCAA records have him seeing the field in six games last season, in each the final two he had a tackle.

Chatman was absent from the offensive and defensive depth charts late last season but made strides throughout the spring. Chatman came out of spring ball sharing the starting spot with Dalonte Wallace.

Last season was something of a disappointment given that Chatman was very effective in 2010 when he racked up 20 tackles and a quarterback hurry. This year he will have a chance to improve on those numbers. Being opposite of Khalil Mack may help him if opposing offenses set up their protection schemes to protect against Mack and Defensive End Steven Means who will be on the left side.
