For the third time this summer UB has plucked up and coming talent from the athletic department from the University of Mississippi.

"I am very pleased to add a professional as talented as Eric Gross to our staff. Eric played a key role in our success building a vision for the future of Ole Miss Athletics and implementing a funding model to bring it to reality. I am confident that he will help us hit the ground running as we work to build an aggressive vision for UB Athletics as it relates to raising money for facilities, identifying new revenue streams, and leading our five-year strategic plan." -- Director of Athletics Danny White

Gross got his start with University of Tennessee, but landed at Ole Miss as part of Whites UMAA Foundation. He was the Associate Director of Development for the Rebels and a member of a team that posted three consecutive record–breaking fundraising years since 2010.

He played an integral role in the planning, preparation and launch of the Capital Gift Agreement (CGA) program and the Forward Together campaign which a fundraising effort to bring a new basketball arena and football stadium expansion to Ole Miss.

He joins not only Director white but Allen Greene who also came from Mississippi.
