Know your Bulls is a countdown to the kick off. If will look at every single UB football player on the roster. When the players number matches the number of days remaining then it's his turn in the spotlight.

Position: Wide Receiver

From: Tyrone, Georgia

Last year played a key role when Alex Neutz and Terrell Jackson were hurt

Devon Hughes was A first-team All-Region player at Sandy Creek High School. During his senior season he pulled down 37 receptions for 600 yards and six touchdowns. After red shirting during the 2010 season he was called on last year to help fill depth in the UB receiving corps.

He played in 10 games and had 18 catches for 123 yards and a touchdown. His true value to the team, and his potential in the future, became apparent after Alex Neutz went down against Miami. The Bulls, who were already without Terrell Jackson when hauled in a career-best five catches for 33 yards in his first career start against Eastern Michigan.

He led all UB receivers during this years spring game, getting eight receptions for 81 yards. He seems to be firmly entrenched as UB's number two receiver who can make middle distance catches in traffic. He may be most dangerous inside the redzone.
