Know your Bulls is a countdown to the kick off. If will look at every single UB football player on the roster. When the players number matches the number of days remaining then it's his turn in the spotlight.

Position: Defensive Lineman

From: Bloomfield, New Jersey

Second team Defensive end behind Means

Kristjan Sokoli was one of the more versatile athletes to sign with UB in 2010. He was a football All Conference player (who played on both lines, the tight end, and as a kicker / punter. He was also a basketball star and fished as the 8th best discus thrower in New Jersey.

He needed to fill out a bit, at 6-4 he was going to be one of the taller linemen but he only had 230 pounds packed on by the time he arrived at camp. After using a red shirt in 2010 he took to the active roster last year, nearly 60 pounds heavier than when he arrived at UB.

Sokoli appeared in ten games last season putting up 14 tackles. His four tackles for loss was good for 7th on the team. He also forced a fumble against Miami. By the end of the season he was firmly entrenched behind Steven Means on the defensive end, it's likely that where he last this year as well.
