Behind a dominating 31 point performance by Javon McCrea the Bulls beat Milwaukee by 20 points. At one point McCrea scored ten straight points as the Panthers were unable to slow down the UB attack. Will Regan added 10 and Auraum Nuiriankh scored 13 points and pulled down 14 rebounds.
For the Panthers it was all Jordan Aaron (23 points) and Paris Gulley (16 points). Milwaukee was only able to establish an offensive rhythm briefly in the first when they closed a nine point deficit to three before UB pulled away for good.
It was one of UB's better defensive performances in of the season as the Bulls held every Panther player to under 50% from the field and dominated the boards with 30 defensive rebounds.
Buffalo did give Milwaukee 17 shots from the line off of their 20 fouls but the Panthers were only able to convert 8 of those into points. UB also committed their requisite 17 turnovers, 12 of Milwaukee's points came off of those miscues.
It was the kind of game that the Bulls needed if they want to turn the course of their season. Buffalo plays their last Big 4 rival, Niagara, this Saturday. Milwaukee is one of the weaker teams on UB's schedule but even with that in mind the Bulls were a different team than the one which has floundered through the season.
