After breaking for finals the UB Basketball team will take on Washington State. Unfortunately they will not have point guard Jarod Oldham. Oldham is out for the season after injuring his wrist in practice last week.
Jarryn Skeete, a freshman will probably be expected fo fill in for Oldham as UB's staring point guard. Skeete just broke through into the starting lineup a few games ago and his game has steadily improved. He's averaged just 4.0 points and 1.3 assists in 18.7 minutes during his last three starts.
This may mean that junior Corey Raley-Ross, who was a shooting guard before Skeete too the job, will move back to that position.
The Bulls have already been plagued by turnovers and losing Oldham could only exacerbate the problem. Fortunately Washington is near last in the nation (340) in steals per game.
The Cougars, led by Brock Motum with 20 points a game, are a pretty even match for the Bull. On paper the two teams are very comparable with the exception of UB's turnover problem.
After the contest Against Washington State the Bulls take on Notre Dame (of Ohio, a DII school) and Tulsa before beginning Conference play/
