I guarantee you that I hate the SEC more than you and still it confounds me that so many people have Oregon ahead of Florida.

The Gators have been a one team wrecking crew lately. There are three teams right now who have lost only against Florida.

LSU, Texas A&M, and now South Carolina.

Who has Oregon beaten up on? Where is the top ten team on the schedule who's BCS dreams were crushed by the Ducks?

Yes I know Oregon has a high powered offense, and a really neato mascot but they have done nothing to prove themselves this season. And if this was the first few weeks when nobody has proven themselves that would be ok.

But for Pete's sake Kansas State has had a better schedule so far than Oregon. The best Wildcats win is over Oklahoma.

The best Ducks win? Arizona... Maybe...

Maybe Oregon is the second best team in the nation.

Perhaps after warming up against Tennessee Tech, Fresno, and Washington state they will bring it against USC, Stanford, and Oregon State.

But until that time ranking them number two is insane..
