OK here we are in week five. For the third straight year, Quinn’s UB Bulls are sitting at 1 – 3 with Ohio, the leader of the MAC as the next opponent. Couple things going for Buffalo, they have beat Nationally Rated MAC teams and Buffalo beat Ohio last year 38 - 37. Am I living in the past, you bet your bippy I am!
Ohio started off on fire beating Penn State and Marshall. Penn State is still a big win despite all that is happening. Marshall puts a smile on my face that they were too good for the MAC. Then something happened last week. UMASS scared the pants off Ohio and almost pulled off a great first season upset. Maybe Ohio was looking ahead especially after all the Ohio will run the table articles that popped up. Ohio should be focused for this game and may want to make this a statement game.
I am glad that LaVon Brazil has graduated. UB could not contain him. I want to thank everyone that takes part in the Bull Run Pick ‘Em game. I truly enjoy running this every year. Started of very organically when I had no idea how UB would fare under Quinn. Stick with me UB fans, one day we will have the chance to vote every week with our hearts and our heads.
It is sad to see that Fred Lee is not in the lineup so far. Will we see Bo this week? UB was an early 16 point road dog but the line has dropped down to 14, the over/under is 57. Bulls are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Game time is this Saturday with a noon kickoff. The game is on ESPN +? What the hell is ESPN +? The same as ESPN3? Someone help me with this. Can I watch the game?
