Buffalo just got it's third commit in as many days. This time It's McKinley Wide Receiver Malcolm Robinson. The Canton Ohio Senior is the first wide receiver in this years class and brings the total number of 2012 Verbals up to seven. Three of those have signed in the past several days.
Name: Malcolm Robinson
Position: WR
Ratings: Scout (**)
High School: McKinley, Canton Ohio
As a Junior The Canton McKinley wide receiver caught 11 passes for 136 yards. Hardly impressive numbers but he was on a team with a deep set of receivers. This year, due to graduation, Robinson has a shot to be McKinley's featured receiver.
Robinson measures out at 6-foot-2, 190-pounds. Scout describes his style of play as physical, a real threat across the middle of the field.
"I might not be the fastest guy, but my routes are my strength. I can get open on anyone, and I never drop the football. Catching the football comes easy to me, and I work at it every day. I'm looking to go down and compete, and hopefully earn an offer." -- Robinson to Scout
Robinson chose Buffalo over offers from Bowling Green, Toledo, and Ball State. He was also getting some interest from OSU but no offer was extended.
