Coach Quinn continues to stick close to home with this years class. So far of the 11 verbals nine are in the states where coach Quinn has spent his career. This time It's Marcus McGill from Gates-Chili high school in Rochester New York.

Name: Marcus McGill

Position: WR

Ratings: Scout (**), ESPN 74, Rivals (**)

High School:Gates-Chilli, Rocherster

McGill is rated a top 40 player in New York by the recruiting service MAX preps and is first wide receiver of this years class. He's been on Coach Jeff Quinn's radar for some time and the offer was extended in February. McGill himself has kept an eye on the Bulls, attending several spring events including UB's blue and white scrimmage in April.

McGill, by his account, also received from Akron and Albany.

He may be flying a bit under the radar because his teams offense is heavily tilted towards the ground. Still even within that system McGill managed to rack up more than 500 yards last season. His yards per reception is just north of 20 yards.

Scouts see McGill as a good instinctual physical receiver:

(McGill) Utilizes his strong body to position himself in traffic, make the tough grab and absorb the hit. Reliable hands. Shows athletic ability and concentration adjusting to the poorly-thrown ball. Runs adequate patterns. Makes up for sharpness with good body control and positioning. -- ESPN

McGill is going to be a possession and Red Zone receiver. The Bulls already have a bit of speed on the outside so a player with his style may do very well using some soft spots underneath.
