Pitt 21, Louisville 14: Panthers Keep Bowl Hopes Alive - Cardiac Hill
Yes, there were some mistakes. The decision to throw Mark Myers in for one play was questionable and nearly ended up with Myers throwing an interception in the end zone. Especially considering how well Tino was playing at the time of the substitution and it didn't appear as though Tino had suffered an injury. The Zach Brown fumble deep in Louisville territory was a poor hand-off from Sunseri nearly turned the momentum of the game over to the Cardinals. But the defense held and kept Louisville from establishing any rhythm. The Pitt defense also held Louisville to under 300 yards of total offense and forced two turnovers.
Pittsburgh 21 - Louisville 14: Home-Field Disadvantage - Card Chronicle
This roller coaster has been as fun on the way up as it has been vomit-inducing in the twists, turns and drops. And it's that last drop that hurt the worst. The silver lining, strangely enough, is that this was Louisville's last home game. The Cards sit one win away from bowl-eligibility with two winnable games remaining at UConn and at South Florida.

Tennessee Vols vs. Arkansas Razorbacks: 2nd half game thread - Rocky Top Talk
So Arkansas nabs the top two plays on Sportscenter tonight, continuing to prove Vol fans wrong that we've seen it all and that more different bad things can't happen, and those two plays roughly equate to the two TD lead. But looky here. That super potent offense has only 5 more yards than ours. And WE HAVE MORE PASSING YARDS. Put that in our own bizarro category. And look at that TOP.
That Was Highly Enjoyable: Arkansas 49, Tennessee 7 - Arkansas Expats
For the second straight week, the Hogs turned in a helluva good performance, and for the second straight year, they are playing their best ball in the regular season's final month. To make matters even more entertaining, Boise State lost earlier today, and, as I type this deathless bit of prose, Stanford is trailing at halftime, meaning the Hogs could climb a few notches in the BCS rankings.

Temple Football Forever: Temple becomes bowl eligible
Andy Reid will clear his throat, cough a couple of times, and say: "First off, any win in the National Football League is a good win." That's pretty much how I feel about the Mid-American Conference these days. Any win in the MAC is a good win and Temple's 24-21 bowl-eligible-qualifying win over gritty Miami (Ohio) was a good way to cap one of the most beautiful November days and nights, weather-wise, I can ever remember in my nearly half-century of living in Philadelphia.

NIU 45, Bowling Green 14: Smooth Sailing - Red And Black Attack
This was a no-frills win for the Huskies, their third straight win on the road. Northern Illinois dominated on both sides of the ball in what I thought would be a much closer game. The Huskies have their next two games at home and can smell that trip to the MAC Championship game coming oh so soon.
FalconBlog--Triumphs and Trials in the BGSU Falcon Nation: NIU, Part II
First, BG needed offense in this game. NIU has been torched defensively and for BG to score only 14 points is very disappointing. It starts on the o-line, which has been improved and is healthy, but was dominated by the Huskies. A few things...

Marla Ridenour: UA, KSU headed in opposite directions - Zips - Ohio.com
Under rookie coach Darrell Hazell, Kent State (4-6) won its third consecutive game and improved to 3-3 in the Mid-American Conference’s Eastern Division, one game behind leader Ohio University and one-half game out of a tie for second.
