Once again UB took on a top 25 team at Alumni and once again the Bulls were not just competative, they were down right scary. The real trick for Buffalo will be building off of that game by finishing off their non conference schedule with a win. If UB managed that then their 8-4 non conference record will be the best record since they went 10-1 in 2005 (they also 8-4 in 2008).
There is a lot of talk about UB being a legit contender for the MAC east and perhaps some post season play but the Bulls are going to have to run through a pretty decent Eastern Division this year and UB does have some ugly losses (Indiana State and Youngstown).
