While the Bulls will be on the road for the first time the Cimson Hawks will break in their home schedule after away games at Towson and Navy.
IUP edged out Towson 3-2, their game against Navy has yet to be reported to the ACHA so at the very least we know paperwork is not done in a timely fashion by the Hawks. Does that count as a weakness?
The last time these two teams squared off the Bulls behind an amazing effort by net minder Nicholas Edson toppled IUP 3-2.
1) Who does UB have to watch out for?
Forward Joe Ford returns for his senior season, last year he led the team with 54 points (22 goals, 32 assist). IUP is also returning last years third leading scorer Jeff Cupelli.
2) How good are their goalies?
Padraig Carey returns and is solid in net, last season the Bulls had some success against him scoring three goals on just 17 shots, but that thats something of an outlier for Carey.
3) How are they on the Power play?
Against Towson the Hawks were one for four, but that one sealed the game with 30 seconds left.
4) How are they Short Handed?
Towson went one for six, but one of those instances lasted all of 30 seconds at the end of the third period.
5) What to expect form the game?
It could get ugly, in the Towson game IUP had four 'dirty' penalties, including a game misconduct. If the Bulls play tough but clean they will get their power play opportunities.
6) Who does their coach look like
IUP coach Dan Hestin and actor Jon Favreau, separated at birth or what?
