Week one is out of the way and NIU broke just about everyone hearts (not a good start for Poochie). The Huskies were not alone as every dog picked last week pissed on the proverbial couch. None left a stain quite like Villanova, a dog that was a bit of clock management away from giving Fire Up Chip's leg up on everyone else.

Lets go Rocket's seemed allergic to week one dags and it served him well as the defending Champion gets out to an early lead while Fire Up Chips dug himself something of a hole (though he was just a minute or so away from looking like a genius with Villinova, and EMU coughing up last minute leads while the Falcons just choked away a chance to take a last minute lead.

Pre-Kickoff Ballot notes:

Teams

Road Warriors: The teams that are most picked to win on the road. In the event of a tie the lowest computer generated point spread will decide.

Right now EMU is just ahead with a Homer vote from EMU Eagles and votes from Bull Run and Hustle Belt (EMU Burned many a blog picker last season). Toledo gets a homer vote from LGR and the fact they are ten point dogs gets them to Edge out Buffalo. Speaking of Buffalo, EMU Eagles likes them in Texas.
  • EMU at Miami (Picked by EMU Eagles, Hustle Belt, and Bull Run)
  • Liberty at Ball State (Picked by Red and Black Attack)
  • Toledo at Ohio (Picked by Let's go Rockets)
Home Boyz: The teams most often picked to win at home. Games where an FCS team is being hosted are not eligible. The Tie Breaker will be the greatest computer generated point spread:

The dogs are in hiding after last week, with seven home teams being unanimous picks.
  • NIU (Unanimous Pick, 22 point favorites)
  • WMU (Unanimous Pick, 17 point favorites)
  • Boston College (Unanimous Pick, 10 point favorites)
Poochie: The Underdog most often picked. The tie breaker is the greatest computer lowest point spread:
  • EMU at Miami (Picked three times)
  • Liberty at Ball State (Picked one Time 19 point dogs)
  • Toledo at Ohio (Picked one time 12 point dogs)
Bloggers

Kennel Club Member: The blog that picks the most dogs. The tie breaker is the greatest sum of the spreads from their pooches.
  • EMU Eagles: 3 dogs (Buffalo, EMU, Gardner Webb)
  • Red and Black Attack: 1 dog (Liberty)
  • Hustle Belt and Bull Run: 1 dog (EMU)
Dog Hater: The blog that is most averse to picking dogs. The tie breaker is the least sum of the spreads from their pooches
  • Pretty much everyone, so far three blogs have 0 Dogs
Dare Devil: The boldest single pick of the week, Tie breakers go to the most total points given up in picks
  • Red and Black Attack picks up where he left off last season, swinging for the fences! Picking FCS cupcake Liberty against Ball State (17 point dog).
