Source: Cory Jorgensen done for the season

I just got an email from someone close to the program telling me that Cory Jorgensen will have to have shoulder surgery soon. I don't know exactly what the injury is but it's a safe bet that he will miss the 2010 season. Jorgensen was not one of the likely starters this season but you always have to root for a walk on.

By some accounts the Michigan native impressed the new coaching staff and performed pretty well until injuring his shoulder. Jorgensen will now spend his junior year healing up, because he never used his red shirt (played against Bowling Green in 2008 and Gardner Webb in 2009)  he will go into next season with two years left if he sticks it out with the team.
