Patrick Williams: UB Get's its first Defensive Commit of 2010

Updates
6/30 - Former Orlando player Pat "The Hammer" Williams, now of Davie University, commits to Buffalo -- orlandosentinel.com

With the offensive line class starting to take shape UB fans got word that Quinn has started to stock the defensive line with 'The Next Bull In'. Rodney McKissic broke the story for the Buffalo News:
Patrick Williams, a 6-foot, 275-pound defensive tackle from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., told The Buffalo News that he gave the Bulls' staff a verbal commitment after UB's JR/SR Camp at UB Stadium on Sunday. -- Rodney McKissic, Buffalo News
Williams was a team mate of last years recruit Dwellie Striggles. Williams moved quickly after working with the Buffalo football staff and after digging into the Universities academic credentials:
"I was going to wait but I might as well say it, I'm coming to Buffalo. A lot of people from Fort Lauderdale don't know about Buffalo but it's a good school with a great staff. My major is going to be International Business and Buffalo has one of the top business programs in the country." Pat Williams

Williams began his high school career in Orlando. University school in South Florida is home to many athletes who wish to move onto the next level. The school is well knows for its academics and its athletic programs, from a fans point of view this was the kind of school we were happy to see Gill start a relationship with. Its great to see Quinn continuing that relationship.

The Miami Herald calls Williams "A unique talent who can play fullback, linebacker and on the defensive line, where he will probably end up at the next level. His quickness, work ethic and strength have made him an athlete that colleges have been keeping an eye on."

Here is some of his drill footage from another camp:
